Speakers
Ananya Karthik is a sophomore at Stanford University studying Computer Science and Political Science. She's interested in the intersection of technology, ethics, and policy, and has worked on various tech policy issues as an intern for Congresswoman Anna Eshoo. At Stanford, she organizes speaker events on tech and society through the student organization CS + Social Good, helps develop undergraduate courses bridging tech and policy, and serves as an editor for the student-run newspaper The Stanford Daily. In her spare time, Ananya loves singing and dancing.

Isabelle Lee is a current junior at Stanford University majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Music. Her interests lie in the intersections of computer science, machine learning, audio engineering, and digital music production. She grew up surrounded by art as a musician and dancer, and began producing music in middle school. Although she still actively records and produces songs, she is very interested in applications of computer science in music production. In particular, she is interested in learning how to code synthesizers, compositional algorithms, and audio filters. In her free time, she enjoys gaming, reading, weightlifting, and meditating.

Gabe Mukobi is a third-year Computer Science student at Stanford University, and he is most passionate in combining CS and art through game development and virtual reality. At Stanford, he helps lead the VR/AR student organization and has worked at the Virtual Human Interaction Lab. Outside school, he is an avid indie game developer and has interned at Epic Games to improve Unreal Engine as a tool for filmmaking and research.

Eva Smerekanych is a Sophomore at MIT double majoring in Architecture and Physics. She is passionate about exploring the intersections of the two fields. Eva was the winner of Cards Against Humanity's 2019 Science Ambassador Scholarship. Each semester she creates new videos about the topics she is studying with the goal of promoting public engagement in STEM and art.

Irene Wu is an undergraduate at Harvard University pursuing a joint concentration in CS + African American Studies. She is the founder of The YX Foundation, a hybrid coalition-design lab which prototypes at the intersection of deep technology and critical race theory. Previously, she led BizDev & Operations at Rowing Blazers, a venture-backed menswear company, and held design roles at IDEO and Fut.
